To teach a girl is like teaching a whole family. A married woman is the hub of the family. From husband to parents-in-law to children, and to relatives, it is the woman who has to play a very significant role in order to run the family smoothly. Prosperity of the family from economic, cultural, social and emotional point of view depends mostly upon women. And it requires a deep understanding, insight and enduring faith on the part of the women. And a woman who can handle her family smoothly and keep it united is educated in the true sense.
In order to make women capable to handle all the situations of life easily, woman education is very essential. Women education, particularly in semi-urban and rural area is of great importance for balanced development of society, because most of the social evils like superstitions, dowry, and female foeticide are associated with women directly or indirectly.
In order to honour female gender and to equal their status with that of male one, it is not only necessary butessential to impart each and every girl education in the truesense.
Our aim is to impart true education to as many girls as possible by offering various courses particularly job-oriented ones like B.Sc., Home Science, B.A., B.Com etc. As the Principal of our college, I along with my teaching and non- teaching staff always strive for the overall development of our students.
Along with the regular courses, we run courses like cooking, fashion designing, karate etc for the practical usage of these skills and necessities in life.
Girls are not only educated, but they are made a part of education. Our college regularly holds programs like ‘Public Women Meeting’ and ‘Primary Education Improvement Movement’. Our students join in large number and work hard in making our programs successful.
I am sure that our mission of women education will undoubtedly get great success because of our positive approach and the co-operation from the management and all the hard working and sincere staff of our college.
